BEL signs MoU with CDAC

Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL) has signed an MoU with Centre for Development of Advance Computing (CDAC) to jointly pursue the Sovereign Data Centre Infrastructure opportunities.

Under the MoU, BEL and CDAC will work together to position a fully indigenous, integrated and sovereign technology stack that demonstrates the strength of India's domestic ICT capability in high-stakes national infrastructure deployments. The partnership will focus on indigenous design and development, system engineering, integration, testing and production for current and future programmes of strategic importance with BEL acting as the System Integrator (SI) and C-DAC acting as the Technology Partner providing indigenously developed products and solutions.

The MoU was signed by Anoop Kumar Rai- Director (Marketing)- BEL & Magesh Ethirajan, DG- CDAC. Hemavathy M, GM (Network & Cyber Security)-BEL and Ruchi Pant, GM (Technology Planning)- BEL, Commodore Sandeep Wadhwa, ED (Corp & Govt Business)- CDAC, Prashant Dinde, Associate Director- CDAC Pune along with other senior officials from BEL & CDAC were also present.

BEL is assuming the leadership position in the Defence / Strategic Electronics market in India. BEL is engaged in the design, manufacture and supply of state-of-the-art Radars, Missile Systems, Military Communications, Naval Systems, Electronic Warfare & Avionics, C4I Systems, Electro Optics, Tank Electronics & Gun/Weapon System Upgrades, Anti-Submarine warfare, Electronic Components, AI solutions, Cyber Security, Arms & Ammunitions, Seekers, etc.
