5 IAS officers in Assam new responsibility

Five IAS officers in Assam have been given new posting. D K Parekh has been appointed as Regional Commissioner of Municipalities, Gandhinagar, while Ms Prashasti Pareek was posted as Regional Commissioner of Municipalities, Vadodara and Vishal Gupta takes charge as Additional Rural Development Commissioner. Besides, Sandeep Kumar will be posted as Development Commissioner, Gandhinagar and Rakesh Shankar, Secretary, GAD, will hold additional charge of Commissioner, Cottage and Rural Industries and Secretary, Industries & Mines.
