Eight IPS officers get new assignments in Jharkhand

The Jharkhand government has transferred and posted 8 IPS officers. Murari Lal Meena has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Headquarters, Jharkhand, Ranchi, while Prabhat Kumar,  IGP (Provisions) has been given the additional charge of IGP, Special Branch and Ashwani Kumar Sinha has been made commandant, Jharkhand Armed Police (JAP)-04, Bokaro. Similarly, Shailendra Prasad Varnwal will be posted as Commandant, JAP-09, Sahebganj; Mohammad Arshi as Commandant, JAP-07, Hazaribagh; Vineet Kumar as SP, Communication and Technical Services; Nathu Singh Meena as SP (Rural), Jamshedpur and Reeshma Ramesan will take charge as  SP (Rural), Dhanbad.
