End users want roll back of Custom duty

Readymade garments Manufacturers want the hiked Custom duty to be rolled back to promote domestic garments. This issue was discussed at a meeting with the Ministry of Commerce Industry and Textiles. They said that if it is not done then Bangladesh would be ahead of India. It is said that the govt has raised the Custom duty and informed the Agriculture ministry . And that is the reason that the end users are not happy.
