Govt receives over Rs 50 crore through auction of mementos and gifts

The Union Government has received more than Rs 50 crore from the auction of mementos and gifts presented to the Prime Minister between September 17,2021 to October 31,2025. This information was given by Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in a written reply in Lok Sabha on Monday. Before 2019, no auction of mementos and gifts was organized by the National Gallery of Modern Arts (NGMA), he said.
