Jalandhar & Ludhiana CPs reinstated, others shifted in Punjab

As many as eight IPS officers have been shifted with reinstating two IPS officers removed by the Election Commission of India in Punjab. Accordingly, Nilabh Kishore has been appointed as ADGP, STF, Punjab, while Dr S Boopathi was made DIG, Administration and Rahul S is Director, Vigilance Bureau. Similarly, Ranjit Singh as been appointed as Police Commissioner, Amritsar; Swapan Sharma reinstated as Police Commissioner, Jalandhar; Kuldeep Singh Chahal reinstated as Police Commissioner, Ludhiana; Ajay Maluja as DIG, Ferozepur range and Harmanbir Singh Gill was assigned to look after the work of DIG, Jalandhar range.
