NBCC strengthens its CSR outreach

NBCC, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility commitment for the financial year 2024-25, has made a significant contribution in procuring a badminton wheelchair. This important resource has been handed over to Munna Khalid, a prominent Indian para-badminton athlete renowned for his perseverance and outstanding performances at both national and international levels. His dedication and achievements continue to inspire athletes across the country while highlighting the growing prominence of para-sports. The wheelchair was procured at a cost of Rs.4.57 lakhs through the National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation, New Delhi. This specialized wheelchair is expected to substantially aid his training and competitive performance. The formal handover ceremony took place on 28th May 2025 and was graced by K P Mahadevaswamy, CMD, Dr Suman Kumar, Director (Commercial), Mrs Ritu Pande, Chief Vigilance Officer and other senior officers of NBCC.
