NEW MEMBER (FINANCE) JOINS DVC

Suvamay Halder has joined Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) as Member ((Finance) on 11th July, 2017.. Halder is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Halder has a rich experience of over three decades in the field of Finance, Accounts and Taxation.Prior to joining DVC, he was working as General Manager (Finance) in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) and held charge as the Head of Finance and Accounts Department of Eastern Region of BHEL. The noteworthy assignments during his career in BHEL include efficient Working Capital Management, Taxation matters, Budgeting and Budgetary control, DGFT claims, Financial Concurrences, Finalisation of Accounts, efficient handling of Project Finance and Accounts.Prior to joining BHEL in 1993 he had worked in Heavy Engineering Corporation, Ranchi for about eight years in Corporate Books and Budget Department. He has also worked with Price Waterhouse & Company, Kolkata.
