Justice Sunita Agarwal among women judges in line for SC elevation

Ms Justice Sunita Agarwal, Chief Justice of the Gujarat High Court, is among the prominent women judges whose name is being discussed for possible elevation to the Supreme Court of India. She is due to retire on April 29, 2028.

A lady judge is likely to be appointed in the SC

Who will be the woman Judge to be appointed in the Supreme Court of India. Names of CJ of Gujarat High Court Justice Sunita Agrawal and Justice Revati Mohite Dere of Bombay High Court have started doing the rounds. One source however, said that Justice Anu Sivaraman of Kerala High Court has a chance since the state HC has only one Judge in the SC.
