This is History (842)

Let him who loves his country in his heart, and not his lips only, follow me.

What is the difference between Modi Government and State Government ?

In the state Government, a bureaucrat can get a minister changed but in the Modi Government it is next to impossible. This is the difference between a state Government and the Modi Government.

Are businessmen loyal to any political party ?

A discussion was going on about the role of the businessmen. And the conclusion was “Businessmen is not loyal to any political party or a leader, they would always go with the ruling party.”.

Eat India Company

I'm at a Coffee Shop and on the adjacent table is a gentleman busy using his phone as a calculator... he pauses his number crunching and looks at me and says....

Gentleman: Funny... people are commenting about the Nirav scam without even knowing what took place...

Me: Yes even I noticed this..like LOU issued for 20 cr..... loan raise 20 cr..... doesn't mean scam ammount is 40 cr....

G: Had Indian interest rates been low and if Nirav had used the LOUs to raise loans domestically he'd have been caught..

M: Yup.... the Rogue Banker bypassed the internal messaging system and used only Swift Code...had the LOUs been used to raise loans from Indian Banks, RBI would have detected the scam in due course... though now the system's been tightened  and Banks have to submit weekly reports to RBI...but surprising  Rockstar Rajan did not detect this fraud....

G: Seems in the fag end if his service  this Rogue Banker was issuing 10-12 LOUs everyday.... and that too for 365 days....Nirav and gang would  have upped the reward.... as they knew he was retiring and wanted to assure fund flow at least for a year...they say most of these LOUs were renewals of old LOUs...they say he had given them the Key Code too...

M: Its now come to light a Government nominee on Allahabad  Bank Board had objected to a 50 cr loan to Gitanjali Jewels  .... he had opined that Gitanajali should first return the  1500 cr loan...ultimately its said this Nominee was forced to resign... those were the 'good ole days for the NPA lot and scamsters ....when instructions came from  Delhi'!!!

G: Government has been able to recover about 6000 crores...and I feel in about 3 to 6 months both Nirav and his Uncle will be back in India.... voulatarily!!!

M: Mallya's case is totally different... both Nirav and his Uncle know they can rebuild their Empires again only by being in India...

G: Uncle via Gitanjali captured the retail market and made common folk buy Diamonds... his 'choora' (fragments) Diamond earrings....pendants and rings were a hit with common folk.....diamonds broke the price barrier and now were available for 6000.... and Nirav captured the niche market....not only were his Diamonds overpriced but included  hefty inbuilt design cost...

M: But in International Banking Indian Banks are a laughing stock now.... these Banks now triple check any instrument issued by Indian Banks...

G: If the allegations about UPA being responsible  for spurt in NPAs is true then I can now understand why I. Gandhi nationalised Banks...she was indeed far sighted...

M: Today someone sent me a riddle on WhatsApp... who looted India more... the Mughals..... Brits... or ________....

G: I'd  say the Eat India Company.... now solve this riddle... its easy (winks).....

We have a good laugh and pay our tabs and move out
