During morning walk a discussion took place about Modi. People were of the view being a commoner, he hits target and talk to the people what they want. And that is the secret of his success in the elections.

Who can rule India now?

In a discussion, majority of people said that now one can rule in India who commands a vote bank among Dalits, Tribals and the most deprived sections .

My friend who works  for an Environment Think Tank drops in and over Coffee and Jim-Jam and Bourbon biscuits we get chatting.

Friend: Really RaGa out to show ....one ....his knowledge  about issues is zero.... and two... he has to politicize everything.... take the Sterlite issue..

Me: Yes even I've noted this...

F: This issue has been created by NGOs at the behest of those interested that India's dependence on imported Copper does not fall....with this expansion at Sterilite India's Copper import dependence will go down drastically.....

M: Its being made to look as if the Cops attacked unarmed non-violent protesters....

F: Baloney.... 18 Cops seriously injured...one died.... houses of Sterilite employees burnt down.... vehicles burnt... Collector Office employees ran away in fear of being lynched...

M: RaGa making it look BJP is with Sterlite...to the extent... Vedanta amongst  many Indian Companies had inserted ads welcoming PM to London.... Congress trying to show Vedanta sponsored PMs interaction which Piyush Pande had moderated...

F: Congress Dirty Tricks working overtime....and don't forget PC was a Paid Director of Vedanta...shouldn't he be replying questions ...

M: So Opposition did its show of strength at Kumarswamy's swearing in....

F: Actually 10 families.... who are desperate and  itching for power....Pawar family... Gandhi family... Bhenji Family... Didi Family... Mulayam Family.... Laloo Family... Karunakaran Family... Gowda Family....Ajit Singh Family....Chandrababu Naidu family...do I even need to name the Heirs..

M: Yechury.... one man family....no other Commie came... like they say..

F: So these 10 1/2 families have got together.... they hope that Indians will overlook their  past... their selfishness...their alleged corruption... and overlook the work done by Modi and vote for them...

M:  Modi ... hard working.....visionary....incorruptible.... just see the body of work done...9 key policy decisions... Jan Dhan ...Arbitration Conciliation (Amended) Act....Hydrocarbons Exploration and Licensing Policy... Aadhar...Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code...Benami Transactions (Prohibition) Amendment Act... Demonitization...RERA....GST...

F: Brought down inflation from 11% to 4%...brought  Food Prices under control....4 crore Gas Connections to BPL...30 crore Jan Dhan Accounts..7.26 crores Toilets built...stopped nefarious NGO funding....All Census villages electrified ....Jan Aushadi...plugged leakages...record FDI... 4 lac crore NPA resolved...

M: Doesn't Public feel all this...

F: We are very selfish people basically... now take Fuel Prices..we tend to ignore the bigger picture..... and look selfishly at the small pic...fuel!

M: Here I feel Modi's response will be sensible and responsible....

F: But Fuel Pain is going to stay for some time....its a cycle.... as oil prices go up... alternative fuels come into play.... people start reducing their fuel bills.... demand goes down...OPEC Nations then start reducing prices... sometimes...like last time...a cascading effect make prices plummet...

M: But I do feel now Modi will go sensibly populist till General Election.... if anyone has the  pulse  of people in his hand ...it is Modi...

F: Unn ka dill dhadakta hai humaare liye... aur humaari harr dhadkan ka unne pathaa hai....

M: Wah..
