This is History (665)
The Kaiser had run away, and a republic had been proclaimed.
Appointment of new J& K Governor soon
Appointment of new J& K Governor is on the cards. It seems to be on the top priority of the Government.
Admire Kejriwal
One must admire the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who, despite being an IT officer, had the vision to climb the political ladder to the top.
Has Shivpal ganged up against Akhilesh ?

Has the Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Yadav ganged up against former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav ? Given his recent activities, it seems so.
NPA mein NRA...
A College Friend who is an Investment Banker invites me to Kasauli. We sit down on the Hotel's scenic Lawn and over Dosas...piping hot Sambar and Filter Coffee we get chatting.
Me: So what's your prognosis..will the interest rates fall!!!
Friend: The Indian Markets think so.. .
M: But should the rates fall ...
F: Oil is a big factor ... and the view cannot be short term ...after landmark changes like Demo and GST... Farm Loan waiver ...I think a 'breather' is warranted... let the Economy catch its breath .....
M: But Markets.....
F: Markets are like a spoilt Brat... if you don't give what the Brat wants you have a tantrum... if you give a wee bit less again a tantrum..Markets can fall with a whiff of breeze and can withstand a raging storm...
M: RBI Guv is being pressured by Government and Markets to reduce Interest Rates.....
F: Our RBI Guv should be like the US FED Boss .... does what is good for US Economy... other pressures and issues don't matter one bit..see the NPAs... how over extended Banks are ...some of the Banks are precariously balanced on the edge ...I think 7 lac Crore NPAs are unrecoverable...NRA...Non Recoverable Ammounts...
M: Okay now Bankers are under practically no pressure from Government to grant loans ..give lifelines...but the NPAs are from older regimes when pressure was put on Banks by the Government ...
F: Chalo lets see how this plays out....I hear in Bihar Congress is sailing in two boats..
M: Yup.... RJD says that they have max seats so their say is what matters ...seems like Rahul even Laloo is arithmetically challenged ..
F: Rahul..... just 44 in LS and he feels what Congress says should matter ...
M: Rahul said BJP needs a class in Maths so as to come out with the Demo effect figures..
F: 15 lac Crores is the estimated value of Notes returned .. now RBI has to physically count the Notes ...segregate the Counterfeit currency ...it takes time ...but what to say for a individual who has no Adminstrative experience ...
M: Seems he thinks RBI has a Super Currency Counter... something which he must have seen in Richie Rich Comics ..
F: I feel it's really sad ...the reactions of Opposition to the recent China standoff ... Rahul demanding Modi speak up..just shows for them Politics comes first.. second and third....rather than questioning Modi in Public he could have spoken to Modi in private ...
M: I feel as they fathom that their chances of coming to power recede they are going to get bad to worse ...
F: Chalo ...lets walk down to the Lower Bazar .. there's this small Dhaba that serves out of the World piping hot Gulab Jamuns.. .
M: Yup.... I read a lovely quote today ..."When people get used to preferential treatment, equal treatment seems like discrimination.".... the root cause of Muslims hatred for BJP..
