Whispersinthecorridors has asked its editorial staff to work from home as an effective step towards Coronavirus prevention. All its editors and desk staff are working from home. Whispersinthecorridors is the only media in  the country which is keeping its surfers informed about the latest developments in bureaucracy and corporate world while others are engrossed with the news flooded on Corona virus alone. Lockdown-2 starts from April 15

To beat the COVID-19, the second phase of nationwide lockdown-2 is set to start from April 15. According to sources, in the second round chances are that some restrictions will be lifted and govt offices are likely to start function. Public transport - buses, trains, metro trains and flights are unlikely to be permitted to run in Lockdown-2 till April 30. Final picture will, however, emerge after the PM's address to the nation at 10.. a m on April 14.

Five Ministries working overtime

Even during the lockdown, Ministries of Home,  Health, Finance, Rural Development and Agriculture were working overtime, while activities of others were restricted.

Now the only question ?

Presently the entire country wants to know, “When will the Lockdown end ?”. And no one has any answer at present.

Govt should use this Opportunity to assess ?

The number of excuses being brought out by Officers not to go to Place of Work are impressive. Who will open office, who will clean, will canteen be open ? They are forgetting that in the past three weeks, all essential services were being run and people were reaching on their duty even from UP and Haryana. Perhaps Govt should use this Opportunity to assess whether Offices non functional since March 22 are required at all!!

DEBATE- Is unified service in CPOs viable ?

Will unified service in CPOs be viable ? After Railway’s, there is a loud thinking to create a unified service for cadre officers of CPOs. Grapevine has it that the proposed name could be either Indian Central Armed Police Service (ICAPS) or Indian Armed Police Service(IAPS) and if all goes well, it may be introduced from 2021. How far it will be viable ?
