Who is the “King” of dictator ?
In a media get-together in Delhi, the latest topic of discussion was who is the biggest dictator leader in the country ? .Now three names in this category have cropped up-Narendra Modi, Mamta Banerjee and Arvind Kejriwal. Till now there was only one name of Narendra Modi in this category.
BJP tally in Rajya Sabha in 2022 to increase by only one seata
Despite sterling rise in number of Assembly seats – from three to 77 - in West Bengal in the just concluded state polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s tally in the 2022 bi-annual Rajya Sabha polls will increase by just one seat – from 95 at present to 96. And this is because the number of its members in the Upper House from Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh will see a decline. Term of 78 members, of the total of 240 at present, will come to an end in 2022.

Is it justified to allow gatherings at political rallies and religious functions amidst Covid surge ?
Even as Covid cases continue to surge across the country, how far it is justified for the ‘powers that be’ to ignore implementation of Corona norms (restrictions) at political rallies in the poll bound states and religious functions ? Does the deadly virus becomes ineffective at such gatherings ?
