Where to house AICC Election Control Room now? Congress leaders brainstorm

The AICC Election Control Room has traditionally been kept outside 24 Akbar Road to insulate its staff from daily visitors. The war room, as it is today, did not exist when Indira Bhawan, the new Congress headquarters at 9A,Kotla Marg, was planned. So no space was allocated to it. Now Congress leaders are busy discussing, where to place it. The Congress has two options: by making some space in Indira Bhawan, or finding a new place at some MP’s residence. The Control Room gets reports from election observers and confidential work also happens here.
