Ex-SBI Chairman Dinesh Khara joins Piramal Finance board as Ind. Director

Dinesh Kumar Khara, former Chairman of State Bank of India (SBI), has been appointed Additional Director in the category of Independent Director of Piramal Finance Limited. A nearly four-decade banking veteran, Khara led SBI as Chairman from October 2020 to August 2024, after holding senior roles across corporate and international banking, treasury, risk, technology and compliance. He played a key role in the merger of SBI's five associate banks and Bharatiya Mahila Bank with SBI. He currently serves as an Operating Advisor to the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and as an Independent Director on the boards of several companies.
