Vinod Kumar, who is presently serving as Executive Director Mechanical Engineering (Production Units & Workshops) [EDME (PU&W)], Railway Board, has been selected for deputation as Joint Secretary (JS) in Department of Defence (DoD) for a period of five years. He is an Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) officer.
