ISRO–TIFR signed a MoU at ISRO Headquarters, Bengaluru. The MoU establishes a formal, multi-year framework for scientific collaboration in space science, technology, and exploration between ISRO (Department of Space) and TIFR (Department of Atomic Energy). It aims to co-develop indigenous hardware, create joint testing facilities, support exoplanetary studies, and reduce foreign dependency. The signing was presided over by Dr. V. Narayanan (Chairman, ISRO/Secretary, DOS); signed by Shri M. Ganesh Pillai (Scientific Secretary, ISRO) and Prof. Jayaram Chengalur (Director, TIFR).
